PLASWALL vs. CHB: where each system may fit

Speed, structure, finishing, workforce, logistics, engineering, and availability all matter. No one wall system wins every project.

Wall system debates usually frame PLASWALL and conventional concrete hollow block (CHB) as competitors with a winner. In practice, they solve different problems and the right answer is project-specific.

PLASWALL

A building system using panels integrated with concrete, typically faster for suitable geometries with fewer trade dependencies. Fit depends on the structural plan, engineering coordination, site logistics, crane or lifting access, finish expectations, and trained-crew availability.

Conventional reinforced concrete / CHB

Widely understood by local workforces, flexible for irregular layouts and later modifications, with familiar plastering and finishing paths. Speed and plaster quality depend heavily on workmanship and supervision.

Claims about strength, fire, acoustic, or seismic performance should be supported by manufacturer data and engineering context, not marketing comparisons.
