The ARDesign difference

A strong concept is only valuable when it can be executed well.

Contemporary ARDesign residence
01

A home with a clear idea

Architecture begins with the site and the life you want the home to support—not a style pasted onto a floor plan.

02

Details that survive construction

Structure, systems, materials, cost realities, and sequencing are considered before they become site problems.

03

One accountable journey

Design and delivery remain connected, reducing the gaps that can weaken intent between drawings and the finished home.

What we do

One studio for the decisions that shape your home.

Choose a focused design engagement or keep design and construction under one architect-led team.

01

Custom home design

Site study, programming, concept design, visualization, technical coordination, and construction documents for a home built around the way you live.

02

Design-build

One architect-led path from first concept through construction, keeping the design intent, cost decisions, and site execution connected.

03

Construction

Pre-construction review, estimating, procurement, site management, quality control, progress reporting, and turnover.

04

Interior architecture

Planning, materials, lighting, built-ins, and interior detailing resolved as part of the architecture—not decoration added at the end.

A visible path

Know what happens next before you commit to building.

Every stage has a purpose, a set of decisions, and an expected outcome.

01

Project assessment

We review your goals, site status, location, target size, budget, and timeline to determine the right engagement.

02

Site & feasibility

Lot conditions, access, orientation, restrictions, terrain, climate, and early structural considerations shape the project brief.

03

Concept & development

We turn the brief into a coherent spatial and architectural idea, then develop it through coordinated decisions and visualizations.

04

Technical & cost alignment

Drawings, engineering, systems, specifications, approvals, scope, and budget are resolved before construction commitments are made.

05

Build & deliver

The team coordinates procurement, sequencing, quality control, reporting, changes, punch listing, and turnover.

The architect

Creative vision, held to technical discipline.

Rome Guiruela leads ARDesign across the full project lifecycle—from concept and structural strategy to construction management and on-site problem solving.

His approach treats architecture as both a spatial art and a building discipline: evolving with technology and materials while remaining grounded in proportion, climate, and natural form.

Questions

Answers before you commit to a conversation.

How much should I budget for a custom ARDesign home?

Full design-build engagements are intended for clients preparing a custom home with a realistic multi-million-peso project budget. Final cost depends on site, size, structure, specification, scope, and location. A project-specific basis is prepared during the assessment and design stages.

Do you offer design-only services?

Yes. Custom home design can be engaged on its own, with construction documents, engineering coordination, and approvals support included in the scope.

Can ARDesign build a design prepared by another architect?

Possibly. Construction engagements begin with a document and scope review to confirm the design is sufficiently developed and the delivery model fits the project.

What areas do you serve?

ARDesign is based in Southwoods, Biñan City, Laguna, and serves NCR, CALABARZON, and Central Luzon. Other locations are considered through the project assessment.

Can you work with an OFW or overseas client?

Yes. Projects can be run with defined decision points, documented progress reporting, and an agreed communication rhythm suited to remote clients.

Do I need to own the lot before starting design?

No, but lot status affects sequencing. A feasibility-minded assessment can be done while a lot is reserved or still being selected.

What is included in the project assessment?

ARDesign reviews your goals, site status, location, target size, budget, and timeline, then recommends the most useful next step — a site and feasibility study, a service proposal, or planning guidance.

How long do design, permits, and construction usually take?

Timelines vary with scope, size, approvals, and site conditions. Expected durations for each stage are set out in the service proposal once the assessment is complete.

Is PLASWALL right for every house?

No wall system suits every project. PLASWALL and conventional reinforced-concrete/CHB approaches are evaluated against structure, schedule, site logistics, finish, workforce, and engineering requirements for each project.

How are changes, costs, and site progress communicated?

Before construction, the team aligns scope, baseline budget, schedule, and a reporting cadence. During construction, progress, inspections, variations, and client decisions are documented through the agreed project channel.
